The construction of the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque by the West Java Provincial Government uses a debt fund of Rp207 billion. The loan funds themselves reached 3.4 trillion.
The Fund for the construction of the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque was allocated from the National Economic Recovery Fund (PEN) of Rp207 billion in West Java due to Pandemi Covid-19 during 2020-2021.
“In 2020-2021, we borrowed money. Pen, due to the impact of Covid, so the national economy must be restored. So the government gives loans to the provincial government to restore the economy, so that the economy is spinning again,” said Dedi.
“What is it spent for?” Dedi continued asking the Provincial Government official to explain it.
In his presentation revealed, the total loan of Pen funds of Rp3.4 trillion for West Java Province was allocated for 11 programs or activities. Among other things, namely, road infrastructure of Rp950 billion.
Then, irrigation infrastructure of Rp28 billion, wastewater Rp10 billion, Rutilahu public housing Rp877 billion, public open space or city square of the city around Rp165 billion, urban public buildings Rp21 billion.
Then, the facilities of worship or construction of the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque Rp207 billion, tourism with a budget of Rp173 billion, market revitalization of Rp137 billion, creative market Rp11.3 billion, and social health Rp816 billion.
The funds were sourced from a pen loan from the central government during 2020-2021. “Let people know, all the people of West Java know we have debt, this debt is spent on this. The debt of all the people of West Java,” said Dedi.
