  • The eFootball 2026 v5.5.0 update introduces Smart Assist restrictions for PvP matches.
  • The Best Premier League Season Package along with the Show Time package comes in.
  • KONAMI updated the matchmaking, rating formula and relegation system in the eFootball League.

Finally, one of the most requested competitive changes is here eFootball 2026as the new v5.5.0 update is now live, and KONAMI features a Smart Assist filter for PvP along with some gameplay and matchmaking adjustments. But that’s not all, as the update also hints at a potential new Epic arrival via new face scans being added to the database. So, here’s everything you need to know about the eFootball 2026 v5.5.0 update.

Smart Assist changes are finally here for PvP

A headline addition in the v5.5.0 update is the restriction of Smart Assist to PvP matches. KONAMI has now also made a change so that Smart Assist settings can no longer be adjusted during PvP matches, something competitive players have long wanted. So that’s all doubts we had before now clarified.

New package arrived

The Premier League’s Best Season is also broadcast live. BT Declan Rice headlines the main package with Visionary Pass and Long-Range Tackle as his Show Time skills. Erling Haaland joins him with Bullet Header and Fighting Spirit, while Hugo Ekitiké comes in with Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst.

Outside of the main package, Darwin Núñez received a separate 500 coin special package with Bullet Header as his Show Time skill. David Alaba also gets a special shop package priced at 750 coins. Another Showtime addition has been lined up for the weekend refresh, with Casemiro set to headline a 50-player Showtime package arriving this Saturday.

Premier League POTS options are also available, along with Nomination Contracts. Meanwhile, for the push division this season, the prize is Show Time Nico Schlotterbeck, who comes with the Long-Range Tackle skill.

This update also includes adjustments to the matchmaking and Rating formulas for the eFootball League. What is important to note is that relegation from Division 1 to Division 3 will no longer occur during the active Phase, thereby reducing the frustration of sudden ranking drops.

KONAMI has also changed the way Rankings are handled at the start of a new Phase. Your starting ranking will now depend on the Division you reached in the previous season. Additionally, I noticed that the phases are now shorter, running for 21 days with Division rankings starting at 1400 points.

Game Plan Update

Outside of PvP, players can now create up to 20 Game Plan Lists, while My Team also gets a “Select All” option to make squad management easier. Releasing multiple players has also been improved, as locked players will now remain protected even if selected together by mistake.

New Epic arrival

While not yet officially confirmed by KONAMI, the community has spotted several new face scans added along with the v5.5.0 update files.

The names currently being shared include Diego Costa, Gianluca Zambrotta, Shinji Ono, Filippo Inzaghi, Neymar and Rio Ferdinand. If these additions are truly related to upcoming content, we may see some new Epic or Big Time cards arrive in the next few weeks.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
