Wuthering Waves is set to introduce two new resonators with its version 3.7 update. The action RPG, in the second phase of its latest update, has revealed Suoming as a 5-Star rare resonator. So, I decided to make a guide on the materials and other details so you know how and why to pull her, and how to collect the materials before her release.

Suoming: Resonator Overview
Suoming is an upcoming 5-star resonator in Wuthering Waves. The character is from Huating, Mengzhou. She’s a watcher there, saving the lives of her people and protecting her homeland from powerful evil Miasma. As part of the storyline, she’s connected to the Ten Seals Covenant. She will bring a new combat style and a flamboyant appearance to each side.
Suoming is an electro attribute and uses a sword as her main. She’s experienced in fast-paced and quick fights. So her rotation is smooth and agile, aggravating her playstyle with a blend of speed and precision attacks. If you look for her full upgrade, the cost is high, and I think it will be worth the risk and effort.

As mentioned above, Suoming is an Electro element character with a sword speciality. She’s a main DPS and can also be used as a sub to buff the squad. Her core mechanic involves Forte resource, multiple combat states, and Unison.

WuWa Suoming Intro Skill
Flash Rift (Closed Umbrella Form – Flash Fissure): Suoming attacks the target with Electro DMG, and the damage is considered Basic Attack DMG. Depending on her current state, the Intro Skill can change into different forms. In Rising Thought, Flash Fissure can transition Suoming into Deep Thought and clear her Obsessive Attachment.
Outro Skill: Canopy Rumble
The incoming Resonator gains 20% Electro DMG Amplification. If the character has Unison Boon, they also gain 25% Resonance Skill DMG Amplification for 8 seconds.

Why should you pull for Suoming in WuWa
Her roles involve two things: one as DPS and another as support. The support character is for simultaneous attacks, and then you can carry with your main. Using the Harmonized Pact route, you can perform powerful Electro damage, and additional support will be provided for your main.
And for the second role, she takes the main DPS role and performs her resonance skills in a fully refined way. You will activate the Locked Pact Master ability, allowing her an increase in the basic attack role along with near-deep crit DMG. So, you know she’s way too powerful for combat, making her a perfect choice to pull for.

- Forged Empyrean’s Sigh: Defeat Calamity Effigy and spend Waveplates to claim the reward.
- Miasmic Branch: Collect this Version 3.7 local specialty after its gathering area becomes available.
- Remnant of the Wheel: Claim it from the Version 3.7 weekly boss. Weekly reward limits make this the first material you should farm after release.
- Polarizers: Complete the Fallen Sanctum Forgery Challenge or synthesize higher-rarity versions.
- Mech Cores: Defeat Mech-type enemies and use Synthesis to convert lower-rarity drops.

Final Thoughts
You can get Suoming in the most common case by pulling 80 times. If your luck doesn’t favor you at all, it may take as many as 160 pulls or 25,600 Astrite. However, her elegance and appearance can both be fatal for enemies, and you may want to make a show of it with her. So, pulling her is obviously a good choice as far as I can tell.
