The game environment is set on a fallen planet overrun by alien insects, where everything has collapsed. You enter as part of the Astro Defenders, legendary heroes tasked with defending against endless waves of enemies. Reminds me of the good old arcade experience.

Each stage throws multiple waves of enemies at you, starting with random heroes and limited resources. In between waves, you can reposition units, summon new heroes, and build lineups that actually make sense for what’s coming next.

You’re encouraged to switch heroes, adjust tactics, and adapt to changing terrain rather than sticking to one fixed strategy. There is also a competitive side, where you can take part in kingdom survival challenges and fight rival kingdoms.
