How does HR software integration work?

API, or application programming interface, is a set of rules and protocols that allow different applications to communicate with each other.

Think about API as a digital bridge that allows the system to exchange information and create a source of truth in all piles of your technology.

Example: If an employee is entitled to overtime payment, they can increase the clock in HR software, which is meant by approval to the Line Manager, the HR system then calculates the salary level and is then pushed to the payroll platform to be processed.
